Seems like a huge ripoff. Who cares about ticket stubs, set lists, prints and all that crap? And again, why vinyl? The first 3 discs are just demos, ads and even a whole spoken word disc? $260.00??? Count me out.

Sounds interesting, but I'd like to see a full tracklisting. Curious as to what the "spoken word" content will be.

Yeah, I'm a huge Alice fan, yet I can't see the $260 for this coming any time soon. The boots of demos I've heard never made me really want to hear them again...

I saw the Killer Show in Pittsburgh in '71 at the Civic Arena and they were Awesome! The show had 3 opening acts: Manassas.... who were unfairly booed, Bloodrock, J. Geils Band and then Alice Cooper. Alice's stage show and sound were beyond compare. I may get the boxset just to relive 40 years ago....

Sounds like an awesome set--except for that pricetag.

Nice looking package, but the price tag is a bit much.

I just don't get it. Just way too much of a mishmash. Doesn't seem like there is any rhyme or reason as to what is included. Two CDs rounded out with advertisements? A spoken word CD? I'm into Alice Cooper, but would never give any consideration to buying this even if the pricetag was $150.

Years and years ago there was a rumor that all of Alice's Warner catalog was going to be remastered and released as one big box set (16 CDs). This was well before the 4 disc "Life and Crimes" box was released. I'd grab that 16 disc set in a second if it ever surfaced, but I gave up years ago on that one. For a while I was shooting off e-mails to both Alice's site + Rhino records at three month intervals asking about this but it seems the idea just faded away and died. A real shame.

I agree man-what is anybody looking at that screams nice selection? Sounds like crappy demos, outtakes (who knows of what quality), ads and spoken word?
I wouldn't even pay $40 for this thing. And where the hell would I store it?
Seems that being inducted into the Hall Of Shame meant cash-in and take the fans along for the ride. $260? In this economy? Nuts.
I only wish Rhino hadn't abandoned the remastering of the catalogue.

Close to 300 Bones for THIS ? !

Obviously Gene Simmons has taken over Alice Cooper's Marketing team.

Nah - Gene will just do a Kiss project that's almost identical then claim that Alice's set had no influence on him.

It's official-this is all right from Alice's website. You'll see it all right there. Bigger Picture is also issuing Welcome To My Nightmare II. Probably Alice's own label.

Here's hoping for an affordable release of the Killer show. They should have learned by now with these sort of prices most fans will download.

Speaking of AC, has anyone heard how the band did at the HOF performance, & if it was indeed the real AC BAND who performed?

Musical tastes aside...compare this to the value of the Europe 72 box coming up - with is own commerorative packaging (and they typically do pretty classy presentations when decide to make a "special" release)...no question on who wins on how to treat ones fans when those fans agree to pay the big dollars.

And I love Alice, and I think this would be an awesome set if it focused on, well, music.

There was a guy on Bob & Tom the other day who said it was the original band (minus Glen Buxton), and word is they rocked. Three songs - "Under My Wheels" is the only one I can recall right now.

While I will not bother watching Jann Wenner's crapfest, I will watch Alice Cooper on Leno Friday night (Of course I will only watch Alice Cooper not the rest of the show)!
