I don't see threads about the NBC thursday night comedy line-up, and it's some great TV. Tonight was an especially poignant epsiode of My Name is Earl, about a guy who died, and all of his friends were online.
The Office is terrific. Discuss.
Scrubs: The Musical was tonight's episode. I smell Emmy.
30 Rock is my favorite new comedy, since...The Office and Earl. Alec Baldwin just got a Golden Globe, and Emmy is a lock.

Love EARL. Jamie Pressley plays white trash so well!! Like OFFICE (but I skipped then both tonight for the JL SMALLVILLE episode). SCRUBS is just great, and John McGinley deserves an Emmy. Haven't seen 30 ROCK.

There is a SCRUBS thread in the Jacob Secrest Fan Club (it's the official sit-com of the Jacob Secrest Fan Club), gets little activity, but it's there.

Brian, I recommend 30 Rock, heartily.
I've beena little worried about Scrubs this year, more pathos than comedy I feared, but the Musical epsidoe tonight was really impressive. It totally deserves an Emmy.

Well, it's not like I'm gonna miss a new episode of A Haunting on the Discovery Channel, but maybe if it's a rerun, I'll check out NBC...

Last night was great for all four of these series. Overall The Office is my favorite, though last night I think the Scrubs musical edged it out. And the Earl episode did take on a special resonance for many of us here (and across the road), I think. I still haven't fully embraced 30 Rock, but it's been growing on me.
