I've never read a Hot Wheels comic book and I have no idea what the stories are about. What do Hot Wheels want? Are they fighting crime?

Art by Alex Toth. That's all I needed to know.

That Teen Titans cover should be sent into deep space as a representation of mankind.

Several intriguing covers there, especially "House of Mystery" and "Phantom Stranger". "Hot Wheels" would be interesting if Alex Toth did the art. And Captain America and Black Panther look awfully embarrassed being hoisted up by the scruff of the neck by Man-Ape.

Dunno, can't find a copy :( But there's a bunch of racing/hotrod comics out there. Charlton did a ton of 'em.

I would LOVE to read ASM #86; it's the second synopsis in ASM Index #4, 1985, and it's fired my imagination
a few times since!

Now, this reprint is the very first comic book I remember, the first time Mom bought me one to take home,
and you know, it reprints ASM #131: April, 1974.

Which, like me, shipped first week of January, 1974! (I believe I'm working from a date inside the original #131, itself. Probably arrived a bit later, in many places. I notice a four month lead time advertised at one point, between the on-sale and
"pull date", then notice, for example, in Bob's thread there's a data-base supported
three month lead time for newstands till pull date(printed on the cover, natch).
