I was thinking about NBC Overnight, Midnight Special, and Carson on Tonight Show when I finished writing about the Serpents' midnight broadcast on TV in the Gerber Defenders thread, btw.

It's intriguing to go back to that place in time. My life was very different before the Internet, most especially since I've had it at home (not long). I was concerned, in '94, the 'net would lead to people being less able to interact in person because of eroding social skills, and had a Luddite attitude at the time.
