From the back text of the two issues:

"Gotham City in the year 3000. Earth is in the grip of an alien invasion. The Skulp attempt to destroy the rebellion against them by destroying it's hero. But Batman has a secret weapon. His name is Robin."

"Earth 3000: The invaders have won. Batman is Dead. But there are rumors of another hero who fought at Batman's side. The Invaders think he is nothing more than a popular fantasy. They are wrong. He exists. The people know him as Robin."

Of course, I don't remember too much about the book, I read it back in '92 and just found it while going through boxes.
