Modern DC books always talk up how loving a relationship Barry and Iris
Allen had. Going through the books in the years before Iris was killed,
I'd say trust was not something either of them was good at. Must be
what happens when you marry a police scientist with a reporter.

I'm glad you posted that. I had Flash 262 way back when but had forgotten. I recognize the Ringmaster. Anybody know if there were other appearances around that time?

I had a small collection of DC comics that were from sick occasions. My Dad would by me some comics when I was sick, and he naturally gravitated to DC. He didn't know I was a Marvel guy. By that I mean, he didn't really appreciate the distinction. In his era, DC was comics.

That version of Ringmaster only appeared in one storyline of The Flash, which was contained in 4 issues... #261 - 264.

It was that costume and "eye blocker" that brought it back for me. That was definitely it. Confirmed by a peek at Mike's Amazing.
