What's the interior like? Can't say I like the cover design.

176 pages absolutley jam packed with art, many full page.the last 20 pages or so are a checklist.chapters devoted to Avengers,the Surfer,Conan etc

I would almost argue with that title. Michelangelo was really bad at drawing women. He did their faces ok, but he would draw a male body with what looked like cups on his chest. John Buscema drew some sexy as hell women.

While Brian wont win any awards for his writing style, the art more than makes up for this.

It's tempting...

It's a nickname Stan Lee gave him when he was reviewing all the artists he worked with. From memory --

"John was the Michelangelo of comics -- he could draw anything and make it look good."

Agreed. Cap's sleeve is incorrect and looks like his wing is not colored at all.

Beyond that, it just looks like they tried to do the graphic design themselves instead of getting an actual designer or an amatuer with a strong design sensibility.

Yeah, that God-awful cover is going to cost them a lot of sales.

Remind me if I get to do the comics bio I'm planning to hire an actual graphic designer to cover mine.

On that cover it looks like the Sub-Mariner is going to punch the Hulk in the nuts.

I'll probably get the book at some point as I love Buscema but yeah, next time call someone to put the cover together. Very lame.
