This was a really poorly kept secret. A co-worker friend of mine told me about the Rob/Russell involvement a month or two ago.

"Survivor" is still on TV? I had no idea...

Me either. Thought it was gone years ago.

Still the #1 reality show on TV after all these years. This season has a few babes.

Survivor is pretty much the only show left that I actually make a point to watch. I say this knowing that a lot of folks have a negative reaction to anything involving reality TV, and for the most part I can't blame them. But Survivor was the first of it's kind and I think it's still the best. As any fan will tell you, some seasons are way better than others. Actually, this uneven factor is part of what makes Survivor so great, which is its unpredictability. You truly don't know what is going to happen from season to season or episode to episode ... that is, if you stay away from the many spoilers on the internet. Not to mention it looks great in HD.

I have to admit I'm approaching this season with caution. I'm not a big Russell fan. I never even liked Boston Rob that much, although in comparison to Russell he is downright lovable. I'm also not sure what I think of this season's gimmick that will let some ousted players re-enter the game. But I will be watching.
