I'm a huge fan of Kyoji Yamamoto one of the best guitarists alive (might be better than Takasaki dare I say). He is from legendary Japanese Metal band Bow Wow who have been around since the 70's. For whatever reason I'd never checked out his solo stuff. Here's an example. His band is beyond sick. So is he. I can't describe it-but I have shed a tear of joy watching this. Oh my God. Please offer your thoughts!

While I'm not a fan of the guitar w/o vocals genre (Satriani, Malmsteen). the guy definitely knows his way around a guitar. I've never heard of him or the other gentleman you mention, but I've always said there's probably some guy at a blues club in Poland who can blow everyone away.
