I had my entire family over for Christmas dinner - 100% attendance - a splendid time was had by all! I can tell you it doesn't get any better than that!

 I gave out this by request I shipped off about a dozen packages of individually chosen assortment---that was a gift in itself! I got privacy to write copiously and spent hours and hours writing back and forth to wonderful friends. I'm sharing  and have (here's half, the run; the rest are odds n ends from PM/IF)  and my next door neighbor gave me  and I got to make a surprise of this dress & spent the weekend alone with  and we each got a  !!! and the latest 3 Spider-Man comics. Not to mention Alan Moore and Scott McCloud (those will bear reading and re-reading, thanks Hanzo!) I got Battling the Sun by Astra Kelly, Earthbound by Endoxi, and Breaker Breaker My Heart by Citizen Band last month, but I counted them in.

Some good candy, some gift cards, some cash, a set of Paul Reed Smith pens (apparently didn't drop a big enough hint about the GUITARS). And we bought an iPad for my wife, my son and myself - my wife's idea to do it while she's still getting severance from the old job in case she gets a job before next Christmas that doesn't pay as well.
Also had all the various family together at various times, and the storm went to the east, so a nice holiday!

I'd like an iPad but I might as well wait till April for the next generation (with camera).
It'll look nice in my new kitchen when that project is completed.

I got some Elvis trading cards, the "Little Box Of Butters" South Park DVD's, a GPS, and there's apparently another mysterious gift coming my way that just hasn't been delivered yet. I also got a Bluetooth, but I don't talk on the phone very much and I'm not sure I'll ever want to be caught dead walking around talking into one of those things.
