Did you guys see Conan tonight -- he went over to the DC Animation shop and talked to Bruce Timm and Giarardididai (whatever) about DC heroes and also obscure, unknown heroes.
It was awesome. If you can pull it of teh internets, check it out. I was laughing out loud.
Bruce Timm sketched up a new hero based on Conan called Flaming C.

They rerun the same episode in another hour or so.

Make sure you catch the DC thing. It's near the beginning, right after the monologue.

I missed Conan. I was too busy delousing a computer and getting hammered on sake.

It was an okay segment. The usual pointing and laughing at comics. The high point was Timm drawing Conan. Funny that they thought that Bruce Timm was just another animator that they grabbed to draw a sketch.

I think I am done with Conan's new show. Although I will check out this segment. Either talk shows no longer appeal to me or Conan has really gone down hill comedically. Or both. I just don't enjoy his show much. I've been watching from the start of the current series and it has really been marginally entertaining at best. It's a shame too. I loved his stuff from before. I'm hoping the potential freedom he has being on cable gets the show to take chances. I think they have plenty of room to explore. What I have been watching lately is a pretty tame talk show.

I'm surprised to hear that, Pope. I'm loving the show as much as ever.

I wish I was enjoying it as much as I used to. I am set to un-Tivo it this weekend. I'll likely try it out again next year and see how it goes.

We took it off of the DVR last week. There really weren't any-must see guests. If we watch The Office or Family Guy on TBS that night we'll usually leave Conan on while we go to bed instead of the news.

I miss the 80s. Johnny Carson and David Letterman. That was a solid two hours of funny.

Caught the Conan at Warners animation segment. Had some good parts. Bruce Timm reacting to Conan's suggestions was the best part.

I missed the old Conan from when I was in college, with Triumph and the Masturbating Bear and so on.

Hopefully Conan (and Lopez) will benefit from the double plays. Easier to build an audience if you're catching the late-nighters as the switch through the channels. NBC should've done this instead of re-running the early morning episodes out of order after Carson Daily. Carson Daily is probably the bigger mistake.

I understand the new set for the interview segments is making guests uncomfortable.

Next week: Gwynneth Paltrow on Monday, Seth Green on Tuesday, Amy Adams on Wednesday.
It's like the producer is reading my mind.

I don't how people can stand the late night format. Unfunny, hacky monologue, tedious sketch comedy/bit segment, then two boring interviews.
