36 Bravo--Financial Management Technician. In other words, a military accountant, cashier, and payroll person. FOB--Forward Operating Base BNCOC--Basic Non-Commisioned Officer Course HALO--High-Altitude, Low Opening--A specialized type of airborne parachute jump. HANO--High-Altitude, No Opening. A HALO jump gone wrong. USMC--Uncle Sam's Misguided Children

Actually...... it's 36B (we just pronouce the B per the phonetic alphabet) and BNCOC doesn't exist anymore. It's called ALC (Advanced Leadership Course).
And you missed US ARMY - Uncle Sam Ain't Reenlisted Me Yet! as well as NAVY - Never Again Volunteer Yourself

My brother has probably mentioned hundreds of military acronyms in talking to me. It's almost like he's been eating too much alphabet soup.
