John Byrne needs to do a mini-series explaining why Yogi wears a shirt collar (and tie) but no shirt.

People who know who Yogi and Boo Boo are will be repulsed by this, and well....that's it. Today's young people have no idea who the hell Yogi and Boo Boo are. Who are they hoping to get into the theatre for this??

I know -- I'm from the Yogi generation and I'm repulsed by it. My kids don't seem to like it.
And besides, Yogi was always sort of "Okay, I'm desperate, I'll watch it" cartoon. IMO, it wasn't nearly the best Hanna Barbara.

This. I'll grant there's a potential audience thanks to endless Boomerang reruns, but it surely can't be much to speak of.

Yogi was like Wonder Woman -- he was given automatic "Big Three" status in shows like Laff-O-Lympics, but he didn't deserve it. Huckleberry Hound was teh awesome.

So Yogi would be on your Mount Rushmore by default then?

No, remember -- I'm the one who kicked Wonder Woman off of Mount Rushmore.

Hanna Barbara Mount Rushmore would have Huckelberry Hound, Fred Flintstone, and Scooby-Doo. Edited to add Scooby instead.

Laff-A-Lympics was the pioneering forerunner of Secret Wars.

I'm just thankful that my kids are grown up now and I won't be forced to sit through this movie. I'm glad that part of my life is over......very bad kid films.

Scooby?
OMG. I'd put Magilla Gorilla and The Herculoids ahead of Scooby.
Hell....I'd put the Hillbilly Bears ahead of Scooby.
