Premiered tonight on the Cartoon Network. I liked it a lot. Surprised by how much I liked the Aqua-Lad character. Is this how he's portrayed in the comic now? Good stuff - a done-in-one episode that established the series "big bad" and the new team.

It was on here at work. I couldn't hear it, but the art looked great, both teens and their adults. Looking forward to the whole experience at home via DVR tomorrow.

This was really good.
The Aqualad in the show has only just appeared in Brightest Day, he still hasn't really been properly fleshed out. Still, he has potential.

I thought the look was great - it has the best Batman design of any animated series so far, for instance. I thought it was very angsty, hope they lighten that up a bit. The humor, particularly Robin's one-liners fell flat a little too often. Nice action sequences and loved the fact that this looks to have lots of guest stars. Dubbillex, Guardian and Zatara all made their animated debut, very cool.

Me likey. DC has had some incredibly diverse animated series over the years. It's nice that they can fit so many different styles and have it work out. I never read the Young Justice series back in the day but the basic concept is solid enough. If I remember correctly Peter David wrote a couple of episodes. I'm definitely sticking with the series for the first season.

I don't know the last time that I was this impressed with an animated series. No wrong notes as far as I saw. I'm a sucker for Kirby's Olsen, so seeing the Guardian and CADMUS in action was a kick.
Interesting personalities. I'm never a fan of Robin not being in charge of the Titans/YJ, but the personalities are handled fairly well. The ending was damn moving for a series that's only been on for an hour.

CADMUS, primarily, one of the head scientists, who I believe was voiced by Rene Aberjonois.

No replay listing at the CN website (which is magnificent in it's ugliness....almost the entire homepage is advertisements), and IMDB does not show anything about a replay. Only thing mentioned is that the show starts regular broadcasts in January 2011

I'm not sure if they're new or if they're in the comics since I haven't read them. I'm guessing Luthor is a member.

Definitely Luthor. If they follow the comics we can expect a big reveal at some point.
