Hyundai has a new commercial that features a girl and guy singing a christmas tune (St Nick) thats damn cute.
Anyone know who they are?

Pomplamoose are something of an internet sensation. There's a whole thread dedicated to them on the "other" forum. Can't wait to see who calls them a "sellout" first.

real nice pop music form pomplamoose, the girl has a nice voice and their arrangements are quite catchy.

they do not have a physical CD, only internet stuff on you tube.

they do a real catchy cover of earth, wind and fire's "september".

BTW, Pomplamoose produced Julia Nunes' last EP, which sounds AMAZING.

No thats not the Hyundai commercial song. I still can't find it even at the Hyundai site or Adtunes.
As soon as it shows up I'll post it. These guys need a Christmas release pronto (iTunes?)

There's something endearing and cute about the way she sings and her sideways facial expression.
You'd think they'd throw something onto iTunes as quickly as possible.

Speaking of songs in commercials, a CarMax ad is currently using Ingrid Michaelson's song "Everybody". I can't find the ad, but here's the song. And then there's this other commercial for Advil, using Family of the Year's song "Chugjug", with those immortal words

I feel guilty thinking Nataly Dawn looks cute because although she must be in her early 20's,
she looks like she's still in high school and I should be sharing a chalet with Roman Polanski...

I just realized that Allee Willis was the third woman in the Jungle Animal video. If I had paid closer attention, I would have seen her identified at the end... :oops:
