(Very) IMPORTANT: If you are interested in staying in touch with me or what I will be working on the future, It is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT(am I being clear?) that you put your name and email into the box by the video because this list that you receive these emails from me is going away....

In a few hours, I will send out another email that show case your very last opportunity to buy any of the releases on the Not Lame label. The prices are unlike any that have ever been been....because it's the last time you'll see them available.

After November 24th, those releases disappear in the music universe and their legacy will be left to you.

Look for one or two more other BLOW-OUTs coming, too. Before November 24th, of course. They will last only one or two days, though. So pay attention if those are important to you.

In January, Bruce will be launching http://www.popgeekheaven.com/, which looks to be a forum/portal for lovers of power pop.

I've bought a bunch of stuff from Not Lame over the years, starting with the killer Jellyfish box set, and I've been turned on to acts like L.E.O., Linus Of Hollywood, and Randy & The Bloody Lovelies thanks to Bruce's recommendations.

Not Lame will be missed.

I heard about this a couple months ago but it was really no surprise given the lack of activity at the Not Lame site in the past year or so.. Sad, but no surprise. I've also bought a lot of stuff from Not Lame over the years. Remember his early ads in Goldmine? That's where I first picked up DM3 and other near-impossible to find power pop gems. Not Lame has released some great stuff on their own label, especially the IPO comps- what a fantastic way to have discovered worthwhile new music.

Hopefully Kool Kat and JAM records will keep up the pace for power pop records. Best of luck to Bruce, and I gotta thank him for all the great albums & songs he's promoted the last decade and a half.

Not Lame is how I finally scored a copy of Beat & Torn by the Spongetones.

Yeah, I bought alot of titles from Bruce of Not Lame over the years. Just put in final order and it is really sad to see this.
I will miss them for all what they provide in service and content.
