The DVD-A would have been designed after similar sets by Graham Nash (SONGS FOR BEGINNERS) and David Crosby (IF I COULD ONLY REMEMBER MY NAME), with high resolution audio and a 5.1 remix.
Now, of course, it appears to be in limbo once again...

That's also part of the question: The Nash stereo was remixed, the Crosby was not.

I think that was probably Graham's idea for his own album, maybe after hearing how great Crosby's first album sounded, and how tame his was by comparison. Who knows? But it's hard to imagine anyone bothering to remix Stephen Stills.

It seems, that there's a 9 out of 10 chance that any archival project proposed by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young will be nothing but vaporware. Let's catalog these mythical projects:
Stephen Stills-DVD-A of debut solo album
Manassas box set
Stephen Stills box set(compiled by Graham Nash)
Buffalo Springfield-Unreleased material discovered on multitrack at Atlantic Records
Crosby,Stills, Nash & Young-1974 Tour CD/DVD box set
Neil Young-"Toast" album
Neil Young-Four vinyl-only releases of unreleased albums(incl. "Chrome Dreams")
Neil Young-Archives Vol.2
How long do these guys think that they(or the record industry) have left, to keep playing games with the fans? Crosby & Nash will be 70 years old in 2011.
