Neal Adams/Jim Aparo Batman. As an 80's kid, if it ain'y blue and grey with the yellow capsule utility belt, it ain't the "real" Batman.

I love the blue and grey, ovaled Batman of the 70s! Somehow, he looks more like a superhero than any other version to me.

All of them.
No, really, I like most interpretations of Batman over his story. In fact, it's one of the reasons he's one of my favorite characters.

In truth, Mazzucchelli's is my favorite. The simplicity of the Adam West suit with just the right amount of seriousness.

If I have to pick just one, then Neal Adams version in the Joker's Five Way Revenge, shown of course in the first post above. But like Raf, I pretty much like all of the various interpretations.

The TV show Batman is the "real" one to me. I knew and loved that show before I'd ever read a Batman comic.
In terms of comics, Brian Bolland's version is one I like, because it reminds me a bit of the TV Batman. I read some of those Batman and the Outsiders comics as a teenager, and I do like that Aparo version...but Adam West is the "proper" Batman to me.

My Batman was the one on Superfriends. He also hung out with Bat Mite. Though I think the Great Guzoo would kick Bat Mite's ass.

And Bob Brown did that version fairly well. What I mainly like is that he spent most of that era solving mysteries, instead of always questing for vengeance or whatever.

That is a good Batman, now if only Mazz had done more than 4 issues.
