If you're not nice
Added the tracklisting for you, Chris. The description says it "collects 40 years of Duncan's music" but that's not quite true, I don't see any Rabbitt or Rollers material included. That said, I'll be getting this because it has loads of solo stuff which had never made it to CD before.

The cd should be a silver cd not a cd. The very first run was a cdr pressing but those were pressed to be used as early promotion for Duncans Anthology. Are you sure it is blue on the bottom and not Silver? The ones that are shipping out now are defintely silver cds I worked on this cd for Almost 2 years with Duncan, It was meant to be a 40 year restrospective of his solo work. For various liscensing reasons we only put solo material on the cd. It was never our intention to try and cover his rabbitt and rollers years. We may look at separate compilations in the future that will cover that but at the moment there are no real plans for that. The Orange Cashboat material dates back to 1972 and the christmas song was 78 and few of the demos are from the 70's. We were hoping to make it the most comprehensive set of Duncan solo material every gathered in one place. I think we achieved that goal of presenting a good mix of material that covers duncan's career. As with any retrospective there is always a few gems that get left behind. Most of those that were left behind were once again do to the liscensing of the tracks. It was quite a challenge to gather up all of this material after so many years. There were so many tracks that were virtually lost and in the course of two years we mangaged to get some many together. It was quite a journey on this project and Ducnan and I were both very happy with final outcome of it. Next we will be finishing up the kick of the rhino cd. It will be a cd of all new material for duncan and hopefully we will have him out on the road again with his own band soon. Thanks for listening and supporting duncan and his work. Oh yeah I own Global recording artists the label that puts out that cd along with many others http://www.gragroup.com

Question to GRA: Are there any plans for 'Digital' releasing of Anthology on the likes of Amazon, 7Digital and iTunes as I noticed Pronounced Four-Uh was.
How is it Amazon selling these if they're intended as promo items?
If I go ahead and order Anthology from Amazon and receive a CD-R copy what recourse if GRA offering?
That review is from our own Dr. Chris Evil above. So the questions to Chris would be: was this posted based on Denis' warning earlier in the thread, or did you yourself receive CD-R's from Amazon as opposed to real CDs? I got real CDs (just opened it now ... it was sitting in the "to be listened to" stack), and I think I ordered the Anthology right after you did, Chris.

Good to hear from everyone. If you buy it at http://www.gragroup.com you will definitely get a silver cd version. The anthology is in the process of being uploaded for digital distribution. It will be available on i-tunes, Amazon, Virgin, Snocap, napster and a few hundred other outlets. We had to work out a deal with EMI South Africa before we could do the digital distribution on the title. We will be working on more titles for Duncan and hopefully we will be reissuing more titles as things progress. Right now we are pushing the anthology and will be doing so in South Africa this week. Duncan will be there and we will be lining up some radio interviews. Just contact me if you got the cdr version at karl@gragroup.com and we can work out getting a silver one out to you. It is good to hear everyone is enjoying the music. It was quite a journey for me to get this all together. Many of these tracks were almost lost and it is good to finally gather them up into one collection
