on stephen stills live, stills sings the wrong words during "word game".

i can't remember which song, but at the end of one who song you can here towshend yell out "i saw ya" to someone.

kingsmen on "louie louie" the lead singer misstarts a verse and then restarts it at the right time.

Bob Dylan's laughing fit and restart of "Bob Dylan's 115th Dream."

Bob Dylan also laughs in one of the lines in "All I Really Want To Do."

Happy Jack. I think Townsend was yelling at Moon.

Some others that come to mind:

The Mamas and The Papas - "I Saw Her Again Last Night" when someone comes in too early on the chorus.

Stevie Wonder - "Fingertips Part II" where you can hear one of the musicians frantically asking what key to play in.

Donovan, "Sunshine Superman" (album version)
At 2:28, the background vocalists start singing "forever to be mine", but Donovan sings "you're going to be mine."

Fleetwood Mac, "Say You Love Me"
At 3:25, it always sounded to me like Mick Fleetwood loses his footing with how the drums come back in.

There's a Led Zeppelin song where the guitars lose the beat during the solo. Wish I could remember which one it was.

On Jill Sobule's "The Guy Who Doesn't Get It", there's a bang during the piano solo. I asked her about it, and she busted out laughing - the piano bench slid out from under her and flipped over.

On "Happy Jack", the band kept laughing at Moon, so they made him crouch down, and he poked his head up, leading to Pete's comment.

On Billy Swan's "I Can Help", the band breaks out in applause at the end of the song. Heard on Casey Kasem years ago that while he was recording it, his German Shepherd started biting his leg and trying to get him to pay attention.

I'm thinking that on the stereo version(might be the mono instead) of "Baby's In Black" by The Beatles, John and Paul sing different words in harmony near the end. John says "And though he'll never come back..."
Paul says "But though she'll never come back..."

That reminds me of one of the verses in "Slow Down" where one of them sings "now you've got a boyfriend" while another sings "now you've got a girlfriend." (Or at least that's how it's always sounded to me.)

This is a fun thread.

Nice way to go out.

Wish I had one, too!
I remember the "donuts" one mildly mystifying me.

In a popular live track of Metallica's "Ride the Lightning", James Hetfield sings "And I forgot the fucking words...!"

Ringo screws up on Yellow Submarine on the 1966 recording. I've never seen this mentioned anywhere, but in the middle of the song he sings "sea of grew" instead of "sea of green". It's obvious but I have yet to see a mention of it in print.

The only one I've heard about on this song is that he supposedly sings "Slubmarine" during the last verse..."As we live a life of ease....."
