Picked up a book on Amazon.com called 'Jimi Hendrix -The Stories Behind Every Song' by David Stubbs.

To start with it does not cover every Hendrix song. Biggest issue I have with this book is the errors with dates, recording sessions which are mostly incorrect.

It seems they have printed the same date for every recording session being October 1966-April 1967, This totally screws up the book as readers don't know when these songs were actually recorded. Recordings made after April 1967 through to 1970 still have October 1966-April 1967 as the date they were made.

The descriptions made about the songs are also very small and really don't tell us much that we don't know already.

A really disappointing and full of errors book.

I cannot get past typos...periodd.

When I read a book and realize I could have put together a better volume....not good.

I bought an Allman Brothers Discography book for a premium price and couldn't get past the typos. Obviously a small press book, but the grammar nazi in me kicks in and I can't help myself.
