The album will be comprised of cover versions of Donovan's favorite ‘80s hits plus new songs written by Jason.

Product Description
This is a collection of Jason’s favourite 80s songs, a tribute to the decade that first introduced us to the easy-going actor/singer who rose to fame via the Australian TV show Neighbours. Soundtrack of the 80s is a feel-good collection of legendary 80s hits including Tears for Fears anthem ‘"Wants To Rule The World" and Cutting Crew’s power ballad "(I Just) Died In Your Arms". The album also features three brand new tracks written by Jason: "Innocence", "Talk You Down" and "Good Night Baby" (written for his children). Jason has sold a staggering 13 million albums worldwide, and is only fitting that his latest album marks a return to the period in time that launched it all.

1. Everybody Wants To Rule The World [Tears For Fears]
2. Don't Leave Me This Way [Thelma Houston, The Communards]
3. I Just Died In Your Arms [Cutting Crew]
4. Sign Your Name [Terence Trent D'Arby]
5. Broken Wings [Mr. Mister]
6. Only You [Yazoo]
7. Mary's Prayer [Danny Wilson]
8. Drive [The Cars]
9. Love Changes [Climie Fisher]
10. Right Here Waiting [Richard Marx]
11. What Is Love? [Haddaway]
12. Innocence [New]
13. Talk You Down [New]
14. Goodnight Baby [New]

Some changes from the original posted track list:
Missing:
"The Living Years" (Mike + The Mechanics)
"Inn" (Mike Oldfield)
Added:
"Innocence" (a third original)

I figured this would either be an outright disaster or a real guilty pleasure, and I'm pleased to say it's the latter. I especially like the new takes on "Don't Leave Me This Way" and "Mary's Prayer." The only disaster is "Sign Your Name," which — given that Sananda Maitreya won't likely be singing it anymore — should now only be sung by Sheryl Crow.
