Ian posted his idea on what was really going on with Inception, that made me remember this idea I had for Final Destination. This does not take the sequels into account though. Any thoughts, ideas or similar ideas for other movies?
Spoiler: show
It's a time travel story. Someone beams the information on who will die back in time to the guys head as he gets on the plane, and this freaks him out. He and the others get tossed off the plane. The rest of the movie isn't about death trying to claim people who escaped it, It's really about Time trying to reassert itself into the original pattern. That even explains why the people die in the same order as they were supposed to. Thoughts?

Works for me. Fits with the sequels I've seen, to.

I tend to look at Pixar's Cars as being a post-apocalyptic world where humans have died to be replaced by highly advanced computerized cars that somehow developed intelligence.

Makes the movie easily 100 times better.

Cool Hand Luke is not about a prison, but a work farm for retarded men.

It takes quite a bit of ingenuity to turn a movie about talking cars into something so depressing.

That honestly didn't make it depressing for me in the slightest.

And I kinda borrowed the idea from Scientific American.

Bannings: Not as often these days.
Superman: The Movie is about an alien who comes to Earth and sets himself up as the planet's greatest protector in order to eventually rule the planet through soft tyranny.
