Digitally remastered two CD set containing a quartet of albums from the Soul trio (plus seven bonus tracks): Take Me With You, Sweet Replies, Soulful Tapestry and Love Peace & Soul. The Honey Cone were made up of three prominent backing singers: Carolyn Willis had been a member of Phil Spector's Bob B. Soxx,& The Blue Jeans, Edna Wright was a member of Ray Charles' Raelettes, and Shellie Clark had served time as one of Ike Turner's Ikettes. The Honey Cone released these four albums between 1969 and 1972 on the Hot Wax label. The booklet is fully annotated by Tony Rounce, and features many rare singles labels. Edsel. 2010.
