I thought some of those people were dead! Could have sworn Pete Burns died years ago.

Pete nearly had his lips amputated a few years ago when he developed benign tumors in his lips after years of collagen injections. He spent his entire life savings on a year and a half's worth of reconstructive surgery. He used to be kind of a handsome guy, like a more badass Boy George. He is now perhaps the most frightening looking person on the planet.

Best thing about last night's BB was watching everyone trying to work out who everyone else was...particularly watching Jermaine waiting (vainly) for the first few people who went in to recognise him

I thing it is hysterical that almost nobody knows who anyone else is. Having said that many of us would be in a similar situation. I know how most of these people looked ten or twenty years ago but they have all changed a lot. Even "Face" does not look like "Face" anymore. The only one who has her finger on the pulse of who these guys and gals are is Caroline Munroe and as a Journalist that has to be expected. Let the games comence!

Nah, Big Brother is like Crack to me. I know it is evil stuff but after the first sampling of it I'm hooked.

So...Leo is insane, and horrible, Carole is pompous, Dirk engaging and iteresting far beyond my expectations, Jermaine a damp squib, Jade - just bloody Jade, the ex boy/girl band people featureless, Cleo Rocos interesting and funny (with great norks for her age), Teddy's scouse girlfriend funny and dim, everybody is over-reacting in a predictably amusing way and I'm enjoying it all very much

Interesting to watch my country showing the world how tolerant we all are by vilifying and demonising a plain looking girl whose main crime is being not very bright and whose 'victim' feels unmoved and unaffected by her behaviour...
