I've got a tech question for you guys that you can maybe answer, since more than three quarters of the posts on this thread are Greek tech jargon to me and you seem to understand it I've got a Nokia 5800 XPress and it's a great little thing, but for some reason it will only play one or two videos on BBC iplayer - other things say that they are connecting but never go beyond 0%. I suspect that I might need to update my video or get a patch or something but have not been able to find anything online and have little time to look because I have three very time consuming children - any ideas?

Does your phone have a wifi connection that you can access your home internet or at a cafe with? If so, try it on that and if it works then it's likely a signal/carrier issue.

Yeah it's on the wi fi that I use it. There's no problem on the laptop, just on the mobile.

Huh, that's odd. Maybe there's a software update for your phone you can install. I'm not familiar enough with the Nokia phones. My best friend has the same phone as you and while we don't have the iplayer, he can do youtube and such with no problems.

Is the iPlayer a dedicated app? If so, delete it and reinstall it.

Can you watch the videos directly on the BBC webpage?

We're flying a little blind because of the whole "BBC only works in the UK" thing.
