I heard the entire catalog is getting the Deluxe treatment, per their website. Has anyone heard anymore info on this? I'm looking forward to getting the entire catalog, except for Stay Hungry...which I got as a 25th Anniversary edition. My guess is that they will include that CD again packaged with the live DVD that was made available if you bought the CD in certain places.

I hope so, because the Spitfire label releases were a disgrace. The album "You Can't Stop Rock n' Roll" was entirely dubbed from a scratchy L.P., though they could have obtained the recordings from a deleted, tape-derived Atlantic Records CD. The album "Come Out and Play" was mastered from a previous CD release, but inexplicably mastered at half volume. And most of the bonus tracks were dubbed from vinyl.(the pre-Atlantic "Ruff Cutts" tracks were taken from scratchy U.S. 7" releases). I tried sending Spitfire CD-R's containing a digital clone from the Atlantic "You Can't Stop Rock n' Roll" CD and a dub from a pristine European 12" edition of "Ruff Cutts".....and Spitfire ignored me.

I wonder which mix they will use for "Under The Blade". The original British vinyl mix or the 1985 Atlantic re-mix.

Maybe they'll do a "deluxe edition" with both versions and bonus tracks.

I knew the one guy who was head of the label in the early 2000s because he set up some interviews I did for the magazine I was working for at the time. He was relatively nice, but always cut me off when we were talking and I didn't get to ask him many questions about the label's product.
But man, they did a shit job on the remasters for Twisted Sister and I'd guess they were not form the master tapes because he had told me that that was a very expensive proposition and you have to press at least 3,000-5,000 copies of a remaster depending on the label deal.

But Atlantic Records at one point thought that Twisted Sister's music was so commercially worthless, that they gave back the rights(to all of the albums except "Stay Hungry") to the group, but apparently Atlantic didn't hand over the master tapes.

Amazon has "Come Out And Play" and "Love Is For Suckers" listed as being released on October 25 on the Eagle Rock label . There is no tracklisting yet but in the description for "Come Out And Play" its says features Leader Of The Pack and 10 other hits . So I guess there are no Deluxe Editions as stated on the TS web site a few months ago .

Not sure what this is. Are these new remasters or just re-releases of the horrible Spitfire releases-anyone? If this is the real deal, hope this makes you guys happy! If not, sorry.

From antimusic.com:

Eagle Rock has announced re-issues of Twisted Sister's Club Daze, Vol. 1 – The Studio Sessions and You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll, which hits stores January 25.
Hot on the heels of the recently released Live in Wacken – The Reunion DVD/CD (released October 2010), these two albums are epitaphs of the band's early days. Club Daze, Vol. 1 compiles recordings from 1972-1982, when Twisted Sister was a young, hungry pack of hard rockers doing time in clubs around New York City and Long Island. It was during these first ten years that they started brewing up a buzz, refining their stage act, and setting new records in fan attendance in over 50 clubs. Club Daze, originally released by Spitfire Records in 1999, captures a moment in time when TS laid the foundation that would lead them to become one of the world's most intense metal bands.

The long-overdue remaster for You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll (originally released via Atlantic in 1983 and later re-issued by Spitfire in 1999) brings out the punch that wasn't on the original CD versions. Finally presented in an aural setting not available when first mastered for CD, fans will finally be able to hear songs such as the hit "I Am (I'm Me)", "The Kids Are Back" and "Like A Knife In The Back" with the same sonic intensity as the band intended for the world to hear.

Look for re-issues of Twisted Sister's Come Out And Play and Love Is For Suckers to be released later in the year.

Club Daze, Vol. 1 – The Studio Sessions:
1.) Come Back
2.) Pay The Price
3.) Rock N Roll Saviors
4.) High Steppin'
5.) Big Gun
6.) T.V. Wife
7.) Can't Stand Still
8.) Follow Me
9.) I'll Never Grow Up, Now!
10.) Lady's Boy
11.) Leader Of The Pack
12.) Under The Blade
13.) Shoot 'Em Down

You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll:
1.) The Kids Are Back
2.) Like A Knife In The Back
3.) Ride To Live, Live To Ride
4.) I Am (I'm Me)
5.) The Power And The Glory
6.) We're Gonna Make It
7.) I've Had Enough
8.) I'll Take You Alive
9.) You're Not Alone (Suzette's Song)
10.) You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll
11.) One Man Woman (bonus track)
12.) Four Barrel Heart Of Love (bonus track)
13.) Feel The Power (bonus track)

So what happened to Under The Blade? Is it just reduced to 2 songs on the Club Daze issue?

If they are being released at all. All mention of the reissues has been removed from the group's website.

I had pre-ordered You Can't Stop Rock and Roll from Wherehouse (where they were $9.47 I think), but I didn't get a shipping notice yet.

I got You Can't Stop Rock and Roll Thursday. No extra commentary, history, or period pics in the packaging but pretty faithful to the original LP. 2 of the 3 bonus tracks were good and the third was just OK. The CD sounds a little muffled but as I recall the original LP did too. I'd A/B them but my turntable died a few weeks ago.

Having said that, I'm a guitarist and listened to it on my way to a gig last night and enjoyed the hell out of it. Brought back some memories.

Can anyone confirm that these are from Eagle/Fontana but Armoury is also involved? Who and what is Armoury? Is this the band's label?

IP, the back cover says "An Armoury Records release. Armoury Records is a division of Eagle Rock Entertainment".

Thanks Angus. And I believe the next releases are Come Out And Play and Love Is For Suckers on march 15th, although some sites I've seen say these are out now, but those may be the Japanese CDs.

Armoury Records begins the process of remastering and reissuing a number of albums from New York metal band Twisted Sister. Come Out And Play is the follow up to the monstrous Stay Hungry album that catapulted Twisted Sister to the masses. The album features the title track, 'You Want What We Got' & 'Be Chrool To Your Scuel,' which features Alice Cooper, Billy Joel & Brian Setzer all performing on the track.

TRACK LISTING
1. Come Out And Play
2. Leader Of The Pack
3. You Want What We Got
4. I Believe In Rock 'N' Roll
5. The Fire Still Burns
6. Be Chrool To Your Scuel
7. I Believe In You
8. Out On The Streets
9. Lookin' Out For #1
10. Kill Or Be Killed
11. King Of The Fools [Bonus Track]

Armoury Records begins the process of remastering and reissuing a number of albums from New York metal band Twisted Sister. The fifth and final studio album from Twisted Sister, Love Is For Suckers was originally released in 1987, and was conceived as a Dee Snider solo album. Shortly after the album was released, Dee Snider would leave Twisted Sister, who would break up for nearly 15 years before reuniting in 2001.

TRACK LISTING
1. Wake Up (The Sleeping Giant)
2. Hot Love
3. Love Is For Suckers
4. I'm So Hot For You
5. Tonight
6. Me And The Boys
7. One Bad Habit
8. I Want This Night (To Last Forever)
9. You Are All That I Need
10. Yeah Right

Bonus Tracks
11. Feel Appeal
12. Statutory Date
13. If That's What You Want
14. I Will Win
