I just got one of those periodic junk messages I get saying I had been "honored" by being chosen as a representative of my field in "Strathmore's Who's Who." Do some of you get these messages too? Do you know of anybody who's actually fallen for this scam?
I've heard of people not only getting taken for however many hundred $s they charge for inclusion in their list, but even announcing it to their local papers! What a humiliation that must lead to!

I got some of those when I was in school, I don't think we ever replied to them.

Do they ever answer the question of just exactly who is who? I've wondered myself.

Imagine the embarrassment of someone who mentions on a resume that they're in this "Who's Who", not realizing that they are basically letting everybody know how naive they are.
