I remember that Larsen series "Nova: The Human Rocket." That was back during the last days of Marvel's second Golden Age. It never had a chance, but we had a perfect little comic book there for a while.

And I thought I was the only one. I HATE the new one and the whole cosmic storyline. The original concept is still the best. I never read Larsen's run. I know he is a huge fan of the original too.

Wow. I mean, I love Nova, and the original run. None of the others until the current stuff has worked for me at all. The new Costume is the best since the first one, and Marvel's current cosmic stuff is really, really good.

  In some pictures the shoulder things look crazy, but I like both of these. I still see it and think "Nova!"
