The Three Questions is also a neat kid's book, based on an old Tolstoy short story.

I may even have bought some of the early books, when fully-painted comic art was printed on good paper stock and squarebound, it was still a novelty then.

I don't know a great deal about Muth's art. I've always thought "Moonshadow" looked interesting, but I haven't ever read it. I have read a nice story he painted for a Ray Bradbury adaptation.

I think I sold my Moonshadow books. Then there was the prestige book series, Blood, three issues, I think it was. That was similar in style. In fact, I might have confused Muth with the artist of Blood, anyway they are part of that painting school, that also counts Dave McKean.
