Lemon can be ok - it just depends.
They did a decent job on Graham Bonnet's LINE UP reissue and a great job on THE RODS - Wild Dogs. I also have a very nice pair of WITCHFYNDE discs from them.
However, sometimes their stuff is practically a bad vinyl rip (I seem to remember a gruesome TRAPEZE reissue).
As for this album, its the dog of the HEEP catalog. Some good songs but an atrocious production job that has dated very, very badly. Belongs in a folder with "Conquest" for completeists only.
Oh, the album isn't very good, but it has a few great tracks such as "Poor Little Rich Girl", "Night Of The Wolf", "Heartache City", "Bad Blood" and "Lost One Love". I love the Goalby era and this is the weakest of those albums but it has some good stuff.
Sadly, it has some dreadful songs like "Party Time" (might be the worst song ever by a major act), "Rockarama" (the video is awful too and MTV barely played it) and "Skool's Burnin' "-songs so stupid, so inane you'd think they were trying to be Spinal Tap.
Tony Platt's ricidulous production hurts things as well-he threw in everything but the kitchen sink. The album cost over 200,000 at the time and it flopped-Platt should never have worked again!
I can't trust Lemon so I'll stick with the Sony/Legacy release.
P.S.
I think Conquest, Innocent Victim and Different World are worse than this record!
