Product Description
After a short spell at Epic Records, Brenda Payton signed with Casablanca subsidiary Chocolate City in 1976. The resulting I Keep Coming Back For More album was recorded at Philadelphia's Sigma Sound. Production was divided between Philly veterans Bobby Eli and Norman Harris and the emerging John Davis. As always, Gilda Woods, who had guided Brenda & The Tabulations' career since the '60s, was co-producer. In addition to the dance hit Let's Go All The Way (Down) the album includes many of Brenda's traditional ballads including a stunning cover of Home To Myself. 16-page booklet includes a major new essay by noted journalist Christian Wikane, who spoke with Cecil Holmes, Bobby Eli, John Davis and others involved with this album. Remastered from the original first generation analog masters, and including bonus track Let's Go All The Way (Down) (12'' Mix).

1. I'm A Superstar
2. Take It Or Leave It
3. Everybody's Fool
4. Home To Myself
5. Let's Go All The Way (Down)
6. Leave Me Alone
7. I Keep Coming Back For More

— Bonus Track —
8. Let's Go All The Way (Down) [12'' Mix]

The blurb reads like I should know who this is, but I've never heard of Brenda & The Tabulations. Who are these people?

They had a string of R&B hits in the late 60s and early 70s. "Dry Your Eyes" and "Right On the Tip of My Tongue" were Top 30 pop hits in 1967 and 1971, respectively.

The also merited a quick mention in the 70s novelty hit "Life Is a Rock, But the Radio Rolled Me" by Reunion.

This is actually quite good. There is a great rendition of Melissa Manchester's song, "Home To Myself", which is quite lovely!
