What's a good, simple to use, easy to clean coffee maker?

I drink coffee at work all week, then I drag ass all weekend because I don't have a coffee maker at home.

So something to use a couple of days a week,

How much Coffee do you drink a day at home? A cup? a pot?

Cause if it is a cup or two then Pod Cofee makers are fantastic. Practicably no clean up. There are different versions out there but, here is one.

I got mine at costco which came with a huge variety of coffees for me to try.

My wife would get on me with the mess I would make with our self grinding coffee maker. And it was a pain in the ass. Since we have switched, I have not heard a peep about finding coffee grinds.

We got a Gevalia coffee maker for "free". You had to sign up for their coffee delivery - don't remember how long for - but it seems to be a fine coffee pot. We use it every day and have had it for at least a year. Came with a timer and automatic shut off, which is more than the Bunn we bought for like 3 or 4 times the "price". If you Google around you can probably find the offer. After you get the coffee maker I think you can just cancel the service. We kept it because we like the coffee and we drink a lot. It's pretty pricey, but good coffee.

I really love the keurig coffee maker we have. No clean up what-so-ever, and they come in different sizes, so you could buy the size you need depending on how much coffee you drink.

I use one pretty similar to this every day--

It's only 20 bucks and has served me well over the past 3 years.

Thanks everyone.

Hanzo's on the right track.

I'll drink a couple of cups in the morning, but I know that if I make coffee my wife and son will each snag some as well. Four cups looks like the right amount.

I'll wait till after Father's Day in case I get one as a present.

Depends on how big the cups are. I drink a 16 ounce every morning and it take about a third of the carafe. If more than two people are drinking out of it, I'd recommend the next size up (unless you guys all drink smaller cups than me).

This.

And you can cancel right after the introductory offer. But it is some good coffee.

How many cups can you produce and how easy are you to clean?

Depends on how much I've been drinking, and I'm fairly easy to clean. Although there is one spot you'll need to wash nice and slow.

I don't know about that. I can't remember the last time I shaved my legs.

It was my hope that this thread would produce the secondary benefit of a photo or two of a hot chick serving coffee.

I've heard a few good things about that Aeropress, but if not that, then go for a Frech Press style coffee pot.

They're super simple to use. Put in grinds, pour in boiling water, push down (or "press") the filter. Let sit for 2 min. Done.

Drink coffee. Scoop grinds into trash (or preferably your compost).

Had my first cup this morning.

Went with the larger, cheaper version of Hanzo's suggestion.

$15 at Wal-Marts, so if it sucks I'm not out a lot of money.

So far, so good.

A year and a half and it's still brewing.

I had to replace the cord after my wife accidentally melted it by placing the toaster oven too close to the coffee maker.

But the cord was too long anyway.

So it was an A+ purchase.
