My wife just picked up a copy of the hardcover for me over the weekend and I've brought into work with me for lunchtime reading. I finished the first chapter today and am thoroughly enjoying it. As always, your characterizations are spot-on!

An enormous undertaking to make a linear novel out of all those books, and Roger did it very well. It's one of the few prose superhero books I have enjoyed.

Thanks.

I'll apologize in advance for the typos in the original hardcover edition. I think they were all eliminated by the time of the Barnes & Noble trade paperback.

And a thanks to you, as well. It was my first -- and had to be written in about four-and-a-half months in order for it to go on sale the same day as SUPERMAN #82. I tell the whole crazy story in the new introduction that I wrote for the aforementioned Barnes & Noble trade paperback.

Hmmm, my hardcover has seen better days. I might replace it with the new edition.

Just finished last night. Outstanding, sir! I was surprised at how effective (and affecting!) it was even though I already knew the story. I was also impressed at how deftly you handled the incredibly large cast of characters.

FWIW, I didn't notice any typos.

I think I've read every DC related prose novel, even that Deven Grayson atrocity.
I've loved most of them.
Uncle Rog's stand out like a phenomanally beautiful woman in a room full of gorgeous ladies.
This and "Neverending Battle" are both highly reccommended.

Uncle Rog (and Denny O'Neil with his Batman Knightfall book) both did an excellent job of taking massive, confusing, multi-character crossover comic events and made them easy to follow enjoyable prose reads.
