I watched her do a walk-through on the Oprah show. She had a security camera fixed on her kid's crib with big screen TVs throughout her house showing the feed so she could hang out in any part of the mansion and still be near her kid.

Too much.

Well, I started this thread with the intention of people looking at and commenting on her pool. I know who Celine Dion is, but I've never listened to her music (unless it happened to be on the radio and then I'd probably change the channel since I'm not into that). Try to take her out of it and look at the pool for a few moments or pretend someone else has just bought the place or something.

It's impressive that a person could own their own private water park. As an oddity.

I'm not impressed by rich folk who build themselves homes that are twenty times the size that they'll ever need.

It's tacky and would make me sad. I like things with a classic air about them, even if they are built big in order to host large parties. I'd like something not as sprawling and more ancient European.

So, yes, basically the big hall of Rohan.

I think it's a cool house and if I could afford to keep and maintain it, I'd probably have something like this.

It's over-the-top but kind of fun. I wouldn't want to live there but it would be fun for a few days.

Also, wouldn't you be worried about your kids drowning (if you had 'em)?

I'd have that grandfather keep an eye on the kids.

I think she probably has members of her extended family staying with her... like Elvis did.

I've seen this before. It's pretty impressive. It's amazingly well designed! Some people are obviously gonna be envious. But I think she just really loves her kid and want's him to have a great time. Not to mention for when she has friends over. I think if you can do something like this - or afford it - go for it!

Pools are accidents just waiting to happen. Hope she has lots of insurance.

You're right about that. She seems pretty responsible. From what Robert said she keeps a close eye on her kid. Hopefully that goes for when he's out in the yard. Or any guests she may have over. There was a news item this week in the Toronto Star. A 17 year old mother stepped outside into her backyard for 1 minute with her mom to have a smoke....in that time her baby infant was attacked by one or both of her dogs and killed instantly. She's now being charged in the death of her baby. The police say she's responsible. It only takes a few seconds for something to go wrong. Maybe Celine's right to keep such a close eye on her kid...
