I can't wait until Tuesday to not buy these.

I do so dislike all these "series" that record labels are fond of...and desparately try to avoid them whenever possible. Music is not bunch of homogenous collections cobbled together with crappy artwork that makes all them all look alike. And I generally enjoy good compilations & have a lot in my collection....but this is just...wrong!

And the worst thing is that some artists who have one of these crappy "Playlist" compilations don't have a "proper" Greatest Hits/Best Of. Ridiculous.

When the ad copy encourages people not to throw the packaging away you can pretty much assume they're not aiming these at the folks on this message board.

these do seem a bit better than some of the reissue comps i have seen over the ast few years
there are 14 tracks it seems on all but the Chicks, rather than the budget 10 i see often
price point is very low

I'm thinking about picking up the Art Garfunkel & (maybe) the Dixie Chicks ones. The Bruce Hornsby one looks like it was assembled "with care" (a good collection, as opposed to a "greatest hits" album). However, I want a booklet with liner notes that I can read on the couch, not some PDF file. That's ridiculous! Clearly, the format of this series is not designed for us, but I'm trying to keep in mind that it's about the music and not the "disposabilty" that is being suggested.
