For a long time now, people have taken a strip off of Alanis for writng a song called Ironic with so-called "Ironic" circumstances that were not ironic at all. Fact: Alanis never actually meant to suggest that the lyrics themselves contained irony, in fact, just the opposite. It was only her quirky sense of songwriting that caused her to present that song in that way...it's more of a reverse inside-out message than anything ironic at all.


Here's another song of her's called "Unsent" based on letters sent to friends and former flames...more proof that Alanis will always do things her way, regardless of whether or not people get it...

So does this mean that it was Dave Coulier who actually went down on Alanis in a theater?

Sometimes I'm sorry that You Oughta Know was such a controversial magnet of a song...it really distracts from all her other great work.
