BTW.
An uninteresting Pac Man tidbit.
A few months before the game was released over here, I was down in L.A. during one of my annual trips to Little Tokyo, and I was eating lunch in this little dingy Ramne/Sushi bar.
They had some tables that were actually arcade consoles. All of them in japanese. And one of them was.......
Paku Man.

Some time later, when the game was officially released in the US I remembered it from the restaurant.

Play two players at the same time! I died, hit Insert Coin again, and Ms. Pac-Man showed up! Play her with AWSD!

I remember the first time I ever saw Space War at our local Student Union pool room -- I must've been in 5th or 6th grade. I was there to play pinball, and that thing had me amazed. They got a pong game and an early tank game in not too much later than that. Had to've been, what, '75? Maybe? Maybe '76?

I don't know how to feel knowing that I'm older than Pac-Man... :?

I do not.

Nor do I.

I never had games though as a child.

I REALLY wanted a game system, but my mean parents never got me one

Until they got me a Game Boy Color for me in 5th Grade. Which is still one of my favorite systems of all time, there were some bitchin' games on that. Most notably Pokémon and the Zelda Oracles.

Awesome stuff, still some of my favorites.

I didn't have my own home game system until I was 10...so I guess 5th grade or so. It was also a computer system (Atari 800). There were arcade games all over the place by the time I was aware of such things though.

Yeah, I just spent all my allowance every laundry day on Ms. Pac Man. Good times. That machine's still there too, I checked.

:ohyes:
