52 WEEK #33
BATMAN LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT #213
BIRDS OF PREY #101
TEEN TITANS #42
Y THE LAST MAN #52
LONE RANGER #3
Only read 52 and Teen Titans so far. I think I am tiring of Geoff Johns storytelling style of taking many issues and focusing each on a certain character and their origin. He did it in Flash with the rogues, and now he's doing it in Titans. Let's just have fun stories without all the death and gloom and doom.

A fun little list this week(according to diamond):
Conan #35 - Enjoying this run by Dark Horse.
Darkman Vs Army of Darkness #2 - A fun little romp, I'm hoping to find the Perez cover.
Ghost In The Shell 1.5: Human Error Processor #3(of 6) - I picked up the first two issues at Austin Books a couple weeks ago and liked it enough to finish the series.
Red Sonja #17 - Another fun Sword & Sorcery book, one of my must reads.
She Hulk #14 - Nice to see they didn't "restart" the series at issue 1 after the first 12, still a fun read too.
Zombie #4 - Final issue, fun little zombie book by Marvel Max.

Shulkie and the Illuminati-watti; former for the writing and the character, latter for the art. Now, if only Cheung would draw She-Hulk, I would be one camper who is happy.

No comics. Most of the roads I drive are fairly full of snow.

Punisher 42: best of the week as Frank takes down all the remaining players: the russians, the taliban and Rawlins..Ennis drives home the point: no one comes out of Afghanistan unscarred. Great double page spread by Fernandez and a killer last page..brilliant..10/10
Y The last man 52: another great issue as we get some closure and move towards the last year of the series..a great series that will be missed when it ends...9/10
Criminal 3: I love it when things go from bad to worse..the story slows down here as our portagonists are on the run but also ramps up as forces begin to converge on them..crooked cops, drug dealers, junkies..classic crime by Brubaker and Philips..excellent..10/10
Union Jack 4: a fun action packed conclusion to a great old school super hero series..i saw the final twsit coming but still enjoyed it...id love to see more by Gage and Perkins..8/10
7 brothers 3: im digging this series more and more every issue...the plot moves forward and we get an amazing cliffhagner that has me eager to read the next issue...8/10
I also picked up the Claremont/Miller Wolverine HC premiere edition..my old trade was torn to shreds..this is a very nice package and am eager to read through this classic again.

Picked up...
RED MENACE #2 (OF 6) -- Nice art, so-so story. Nothing overly original here. 6/10
TEEN TITANS #42 -- I liked this. Yes, GJ has done this kind of issue before, but I think he does it very well. I already like the Kid Devil character and this ish fleshed him out nicely. Great art, better than the regular Tony Daniels IMO. By the way, am I the only one who really enjoyed those old Blue Devil comics? I miss Paris Cullens on art... where is that guy? 8.5/10
Y THE LAST MAN #52 (MR) -- Just a great series, every issue is good. Some nice, and sad, closure in this issue with plenty of table setting for the next arc. I'll miss this book when its finished. 9/10
CIVIL WAR FRONT LINE #9 (OF 11) -- Haven't read yet.
CRIMINAL #3 (MR) -- Haven't read yet.
NEW AVENGERS #26 -- What the hell was this about? Great art, nice scripting I suppose, but what was this about? Can anyone explain the second half of the book for me? I liked the first half I guess. 5/10
NEW AVENGERS ILLUMINATI #1 (OF 5) -- Haven't read yet.
SHE-HULK 2 #14 -- Haven't read yet.
UNION JACK #4 (OF 4) -- Haven't read yet.

Rob Hearn: am I the only one who really enjoyed those old Blue Devil comics?
No, I used to have the whole run. Now all I have is the first 5 issues and the preview in Firestorm. It was a fun little series.
