Anyone see this? It's funny but I always thought DD in a black suit with red highlights would work better in a movie.

I am getting the main mini and skipping all the one shots and ancillary minis - and there are a TON of them. I've learned my lesson with Marvel events - all you need is the main story, the rest is padding.

I really can't decide what I think about that art. There are some bits that kinda look off, but at the same time there's a lot about it I like. Almost certainly won't buy the mini though.

I am a fan of Andy Diggle's writing (even though I prefer his creator owned work) so Ill be checking this out. I always like the street level heroes of the Marvel U.

Is it going to be used in the regular series too? Minor criticisms: the insignia looks a bit too stylised ... too wavy or something. I imagine Matt Murdock making one which is "neater". Also, what's going on with his eyes? Do the lenses have those glowing white pupils built in, or do DD's eyes actually glow nowadays?

Reversing his colors makes him look like a white guy trying on The Black Panther's outfit.

Didn't realize that this was a Diggle affair. That makes me considerably more inclined to pick this up. Still probably won't though. Or maybe I'll trade wait. Then wait for my library to get it.

I don't like the stylized DD but other than that, I think an all black outfit would look better i nthe movies and fit the whole ninja training background. I thought he looked almost EXACTLY like Matt Murdock and for tit's time (when all Marvel movies sucked), there were some fun leaping off rooftop scenes.

Seeing it years later on the Sci-Fi channel, I found it didn't hold up well at all, but at the time it was a pretty strong pilot for a DD live action series. (I don't know if it was intended as such, but it certainly had that feel.) And I agree, Rex Smith was a great physical match for Matt Murdock. Great casting.

And here, around the 2:50 mark, you see the rooftop stuff I was referring to
