Which LCS are you stopping at? Any special plans? Any FCBD books in particular you're looking forward to grabbing?

I'm going to Downtown Comics in the Castleton area of Indianapolis. That's my LCS until I move for good, and my good friend Jon Buran will be signing and doing sketches. Might take my son and look for some kid's comics, but I likely won't grab any free books for myself. (Might buy a TPB though.)

I was allowed to get my FCBD comics early, but I haven't had the opportunity to go through them yet. Really looking forward to War of the Supermen and the new Dr. Solar/Magnus flip book.

I picked up the Iron Man/Thor comic by Fraction/Romita Jr. It was good. Tony was written a little 'off' for me, but nothing major.
The interactions with Thor, though. Does this Thor have all of his memories of his previous incarnation? It seemed to me that they were getting to know each other all over again.

I had a great time -- took the kids, they laid out in the floor reading free comics. Awesome.

Took my son, who picked out the Toy Story, Sonic and Superman books. Truly, this is the best time ever for kids to be into comics.
(I bought Guardians of the Galaxy v2.)

Quote: SPIDERMAN foiled a would-be thief as Jedi Knights blocked his escape route.
No, it's not a comic book plot but the scene which unravelled in a Australian book store on Saturday.
Store owner Michael Baulderstone, dressed as Spiderman, spotted the man trying to steal an X-Men book worth $160 (£97).
The 45-year-old called for back-up and the hapless thief was surrounded by superheroes within seconds.
Mr Baulderstone said: "We had about 40 people dressed up as their favourite superheroes to celebrate International Free Comic Day, so he didn't have much of a choice but to hand the comic back after a little bit of a scuffle.
"Everyone in the store thought it was a play, that it was street theatre of some sort. It wasn't until I said 'call the police' that people started to realise.
"One of the funniest things about the incident was that I called for people to stand near the door and it just so happened we had people dressed as Jedi knights there blocking the exit, the Flash was there at some point too.
"It was a bit serious at the time, but now we're looking back laughing at what greeted police." http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/ne ... z0mteFdwNd

I was going to leave Texas Frightmare Weekend and hit a Comic Book Store but forgot all about it...

I was in Victoria this weekend and dropped by the local comic book stores. I got the Solar / Magnus comic and one store gave away a hardcover of the Spidey: Election Day book. I will be dropping by my local store Wednesday to see what they got me
