OK, so I've got the Raven Come And Get Me comp and the Ace Complete Liberty Singles Vol 1 and both have almost completely different versions of the song - I don't THINK it was ever issued on an album, so I'm guessing one label has (inadvertently) put out an unreleased alternate version? Anyone know which version of the song is the one that was released on single?

I don't know the answer to your question. I did see this video on youtube which is that very song on vinyl. I would assume it is the single version.

That's the one that's on the Ace comp... and like you said, since it's from vinyl we can assume that's the single version. I guess EMI must have sent Raven an alternate version by mistake (though I actually prefer the Raven version, not that either version is great , mind you).

I am glad to read on the ACE UK site that 2 more volumes of Jackie's Complete Liberty Singles are planned for future release. It states if the single was released in mono, it will be in mono; if released in stereo, then it will be in stereo.
