On May 11th, Island Records is releasing 10 classic BON JOVI albums, now available in special editions to commemorate their worldwide tour. Each album also contains live bonus versions that were recorded from all around the world and a reproduction of a backstage pass from the original era of each album. Additionally, every CD unlocks the “virtual tour experience” consisting of exclusive bonus content, including memorabilia and an extra track.
Titles with bonus tracks listed include:
Bon Jovi (1984)
Bonus Tracks: live versions of 'Runaway', 'Roulette', 'Breakout' and 'Get Ready'.
7800° Fahrenheit (1985)
Bonus Tracks: live versions of 'In And Out Of Love', 'Only Lonely' and 'Tokyo Road'.
Slippery When Wet (1986)
Bonus Tracks: live versions of 'You Give Love A Bad Name', 'Livin’ On A Prayer' and 'Wanted Dead Or Alive' (acoustic).
New Jersey (1988)
Bonus Tracks: live extended versions of 'Blood On Blood' and 'I’ll Be There For You'.
Keep The Faith (1992)
Bonus Tracks: live versions of 'Keep The Faith' and 'I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead'.
These Days (1995)
Bonus Tracks: live versions of 'This Ain’t A Love Song' and 'Diamond Ring'.
Crush (2000)
Bonus Tracks: live versions of 'It’s My Life,' 'Just Older' and 'Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars'.
Bounce (2002)

I Have Some B-Sides & Live Tracks Already On My Japanese 2-CD Versions, So I Think I Skip These.

I would buy Slippery for the 3rd time if their are reports of a decent mastering job. The previous 2 editions of the early Bon Jovi catalog fall into the bright, screechy & compressed category.

My question would be are these live versions from the respective tours or are they just from recent shows? If they are recent, Island should package them as a live disc or discs to coincide with the releases so that those who don't want to repurchase would be able to get the live tracks.

These are interesting. I would hope that Jon would consider Deluxe Editions for Slippery When Wet
and New Jersey at some point. I'm sur he owns the masters to everything.
