Aggghhh! I HATE two-fers. They look cheap, look like crap, but yes, the benefit is financially there. Still, I completely hate them. So, 2 studio albums and a strange remastering of the big selling Greatest Hits album updated w/ 8 more tracks, but still missing gems like "Love Leads To Madness" and "Holiday", which, since they were US/MTV hits I guess means this is geared to the UK market. Whatever, it still stinks.
Anyway, the series continues with these releases.

Greatest Hits

Product Description
One of Britain's hardest working bands, Dunfermline's Nazareth are road warriors par excellence. For almost 40 years they have performed in front of fervent audiences across the globe and, showing no signs of slowing down, they are currently in the midst of yet another mammoth European tour. Their music is bluesy, frequently heavy, but characterised by strong, hummable hooks, with honourable mention for Dan McCafferty's near-superhuman vocals, which are still one of the wonders of the rock world. Over more than 20 studio albums, the group have proved time and time again that they have a real talent for composing catchy, hard-hitting originals as well as a remarkable facility with other people's songs.

The many hit singles - both rockers and ballads, such as Broken Down Angel, This Flight Tonight, Love Hurts, Bad, Bad Boy, My White Bicycle, Hair of the Dog and Dream On found on this album are ample evidence of both facts. Originally released in 1975, the original 12-track Greatest Hits was a success in numerous territories. This updated version includes a further eight Naz classics, from the sought-after single version of Morning Dew (1971) to the huge 1982 power ballad Dream On - all loud, proud and remastered of course.

I'm really glad I have my Eagle remasters. I know some people bitched about the mastering but they sound acceptable to me.

And at least they did each album SINGLY and with bonus tracks.

"Close Enough" is one of those must own albums for the uninitiated to Nazareth.

Play Telegram as loud as possible! :)

Just looking at the cover art the two-fer looks so cruddy to me. I can't stand those things although I'm probably I'm in the minority.
I won't be getting these.
