Googa, I can't believe you have 1 hit wonder "Yarbrough & Peoples" on your list...lol....Peaches & Herb would have better there IMO. Is your list for real duos or duos that may have appeared on one song?

I dropped "Yarbrough & Peoples" and added Captain & Tennille.

Peaches & Herb was an omission, there were two successive duos with that moniker.

I don't like any of your original choices except Ike & Tina.

From the "top 100" list above, my vote would be Richard & Linda Thompson; but I'd have to go through my cd collection data base before calling that my final answer.

The other I like from the list above is Roxette; also off the top of my head Quarterflash (not above).

Like Geff, I dislike all of the artists listed except for Ike & TIna and even there I'm not a big fan. I'll politely abstain.

Ella & Louis, of course! I owned the Porgy & Bess album on vinyl in my teens. One from the first batch of jazz albums I ever bought.

Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell were the first I thought of when I saw the thread title, so that's who I voted for, but man... Les Paul and Mary Ford...
