Batman has a lead on the man he thinks ordered the death of his father and has tracked him to France. That man is a doctor; perhaps the only one that can save the life of Tarzan's wife, Jane, who's suffering from a mysterious illness. Tarzan is about to leave with the doctor when Batman shows up. "He's coming with me." "I don't think so." Who wins?

If Neal Adams is drawing it, the clear winner is the reader.

Its clearly the fighter who has the most powerful weapon that can be used from the furthest distance.

I'm just giving you shit, but I think this would be a more comparable debate How about Bruce Lee in his prime vs a Texas farm hand armed with an M-16.

In the above scenario... Tarzan.
Entire novels have centered around Tarzan defending, protecting, and rescuing Jane. Tarzan may have to take on the entire city of Gotham, but that doctor will help Jane.

I haven't voted on this one yet, by the way, because I haven't made up my mind who wins. I'd like to see why people vote the way they do on this one.

Any Texas farm hand with any firearm takes out just about anyone.

As Bruce Lee said-- "It doesn't make sense to go around punching and kicking everyone anymore, because anyone can just take out a gun and BANG!, it doesn't matter how good you are." An M-16 sprays 12-15 rounds per second-- Bruce doesn't have much time to do anything.

Did Bruce Lee really say "[...] BAN!, it doesn't matter[...]"?

Batman is on record for having dodged automatic gun fire. From several rifles.

Hmmmm tough one... for me it comes down to locale. Batman wins in the City, Tarzan wins in the Jungle.
