Steve Vai is to release a new CD Where The Other Wild Things Are on April 13.

This is the second CD to be issued with tracks from last year’s DVD Live In Minneapolis: Where The Wild Things Are and features those 12 songs not on the previous CD, cunningly titled Where The Wild Things Are.

This one annoys me a bit - if you ordered the CD/DVD package from Vai.com (and maybe only the autographed one), you got a 'free' download of this, which I don't think they said would eventually be available. So I did (not for these tracks, but...). I'm not annoyed because it's now available to everyone, but because I'd have gotten a physical CD if given the option.

It is disturbing but I got the video and the cd and the download of this so I MIGHT skip this for now or put it on the pick it up when I see it list - in other words I won't go out of my way to pick it up.
