If you're not nice
There's something deliciously ironic about owning a bound paper collection of the artwork of a man who hasn't used paper or pencil to create that artwork in years.

LOL.
But man, Bolland can draw can't he? I'd love to see a video of him doing a piece.

I am SOOOOOO all over this. I ordered two volumes of the stories from Judge Dredd in 2000 AD. They are in black and white. When Bolland did his stories, they were fantastic!! I'll try to post some scans tonight of some stuff from there.
He had an website with excellent tutorials on how to draw, ink, and color in Photoshop, but it's been down for a long time.

The images that accompanied the tutorial aren't archived, but all the text is, so Brian's instructions can still kinda/sorta be followed along with step by step.

You are majestic and wonderful in all you do. Thank you so much!

I just ordered this... hope I won't be let down. I cancelled my order for the Neal Adams art book and upon seeing it on shelves, I'm glad I did -- it barely had any of his Tarzan or Conan stuff.
Also, I got a used copy of Camelot 3000 for a mere $5.

its a very nice book Hanzo, lots of commentary from Bolland too
I'm kinda on the fence about it to be honest... I was going to cancel it after realizing I never got the Frank Frazetta book, but apparently the order is being prepared and I can't cancel.
So, I'm going to let it roll (no choice, really) and see what I think when I actually get it. Maybe when it's in my hands, I'll change my tune.

Don't know if you've ever seen any of his old Judge Dredd stuff, but it's pretty amazing. You have to be careful, tho. Some of it wasn't inked by him, and it shows.

I knew I'd like it, I think Bolland is supremely talented -- I just didn't know if it would be a great book. Sometimes the books don't have the work you were really hoping would be in it (Neal Adams).
