Fans of the Nice such as myself may want to check out Lee Jackson's band that he put together after Keith Emerson split for ELP.

These were mentioned in a post about Esoteric's upcoming releases a while back and now there's details-I am curious as I've never heard these guys, but I know Lee Jackson was in The Nice and Mike Giles with King Crimson. Anyone have any idea if they were any good? Were they Prog or something else? These are way too expensive at Amazon.com ($23.98 each) maybe they're cheaper at AmazonUK or elsewhere. Love the album covers, especially the cheesy Bump N' Grind! Ah, the 70's! Bump N' Grind: Digitally remastered edition of this 1973 album from the British band formed by former Nice bassist/vocalist Lee Jackson, originally released on the Vertigo Records label. .By this time Jackson had assembled a line up that consisted of Brian Chatton (keyboards), John McBurnie (guitar) and Mike Giles (formerly of King Crimson) on drums. This line-up is now considered to be the band's finest. The album includes the tracks 'I Could Be Your Orchestra', 'Spaghetti Sunshine' , 'Public Romance' and 'Ladies In The Chorus'. Esoteric. 2010.
Ragamuffin's Fool: Digitally remastered edition of this 1972 album from the British band formed by former Nice bassist/vocalist Lee Jackson, originally released on the Vertigo Records label. .By this time Jackson had assembled a line up that consisted of Brian Chatton (keyboards), John McBurnie (guitar) and Mike Giles (formerly of King Crimson) on drums. This line-up is now considered to be the band's finest. The album includes a reworking of The Nice track 'Chorale' (from Five Bridges Suite) along with tracks such as 'Be Bop' and 'Catch A Thief'. Esoteric. 2010.
