Awww. RIP. I remember her transition from Sesame Street to 227, and I found it jarring, thinking "Hey, that's Olivia!". Sesame Street actors were to be on Sesame Street only, and here she was acting very differently from how she acted as Olivia.

I keep seeing this thread as RIP Alan Reed. Fred Flintstone died over 30 years ago.

That's like the first time I saw Allison Bartlett, who plays Gina on Sesame Street, play a bit part on Law & Order. She's since done, I think, three other roles on L&O. Two episodes of The Sopranos, too.

I remember watching bits of SS when I was in Junior High and High School, just to see Gina. She was so cute.

Ah, I'd never seen her in the 80's when she appeared, I'd stopped watching by then. I just started watching again this year with my 2 year old, and it's strange and comforting to see Bob, Gordon and Susan, and Maria and Luis still there. Gina was new to me this year when we started watching again, but she had a "I've seen her before" kind of face, and I must have some memory of her from the Sopranos.

I still think of Morgan Freeman as The Electric Company guy.

I'm reminded that Kim Raver of Third Watch, 24, Lipstick Jungle, and Eastwick, was a Sesame Street cast member as a child.
